About Indiramma Illu Housing Scheme

With the intention of providing affordable and cheaper residential facilities to all the homeless citizens, The Govermenet of Telangana combined with Consumer Affairs, Food, and Civil Supplies Department has released this ground breaking housing initiative named Indiramma Indlu Housing Scheme 2025. Under this initiative the Government plans to provide way much cheaper housing facilities to all the citizens who came from very low income category and are not having any shelter to reside. The Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy has stated priority will be given to those citizens who have registered themselves under the Praja Palana Scheme.

All those citizens who have a piece of Land but somehow they are unable to start the construction of their house will get a financial assistance of INR 5 Lakh in Installment released by the Government. With the help of this initiative the Government will somehow change the rural areas development rate and uplift the area social status.

The Indiramma Housing Scheme aims to eliminate the problem of homelessness in Telangana. The Telangana government has built a total of 3,500 houses across 119 assembly constituencies. The government uses the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) method to provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the selected beneficiaries.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Indiramma Housing Scheme, the following criteria must be met:

Indiramma First Installment Payment Release Date

• The Telangana government has announced that the payment will begin from January 26, 2025. All the selected beneficiaries will receive their installment directly into their given bank accounts on this date.

Ineligibility Criteria

• Applicants who have built a house with government assistance after 1995 are not eligible.
• Those who already have a “pukka” (permanent) house are ineligible.
• Government sector employees are not eligible for this scheme.
