- For EWS, the yearly family income of the applicants must be no more than Rs. 600,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs only) – ‘Family Annual Income’ refers to the total annual income of the applicant and their spouse combined, determined over the previous 12 consecutive months.
- For LIG, the annual family income of the applicants must exceed 6 lakhs (Rupees Six Lakhs only). There is no income cap for the LIG category.

STEP 1: Candidates register
All Indian citizens wishing to apply for the Preferred CIDCO Home Scheme 2024 can now access the official website by clicking on the link here.
Upon arriving at the home page, citizens must “login” to the official portal by submitting their mobile number and OTP.
STEP 2: Verification of KYC
Following a successful account creation and login, citizens are now required to complete the KYC process by entering their Aadhar card number.
The residents need to input the OTP they got on the Aadhar-linked bank account along with PAN card information and hit the “verify” option.
STEP 3: Details of the Applicant
- At this point, citizens need to choose between EWS or LIG based on their preference and provide their monthly income along with details about house ownership.
- The residents are required to provide their personal information such as their WhatsApp number, email address, residential address, and marital status.

STEP 4: Uploading Documents
- All documents uploaded by citizens must be scanned copies that are self-attested in JPG, PNG, or PDF format, and should not exceed a size of 2 MB.
- Barcode documents are required for papers such as caste certificates or domicile certificates.
- Citizens are required to upload all notarized affidavits corresponding to the specified categories.
- The certificate of the cast must be provided prior to the signing of the contract.
STEP 5: Submit Application Payments
- Both applicants, regardless of whether they belong to the EWS or LIG category, are required to pay a registration fee of INR 236, which includes GST.
- Prior to submitting the payment, citizens should carefully examine all the information provided on the application form, as they will not be able to alter any details after the payment is completed.
- Citizens should be aware that once the application processing fee is paid, the applicant cannot modify the application form.
